Camp Information

1st - 5th Summer Camp

Camps for 1st through 5th grade are designed for curious minds and creative builders who love to explore, invent, and collaborate. Each week, campers dive into hands-on projects, STEM challenges, creative arts, team games, and outdoor activities inspired by engaging themes. Through building, experimenting, and problem-solving, students strengthen critical thinking, teamwork, and confidence while bringing their ideas to life. Every day offers new opportunities to create, discover, and connect with friends, ensuring campers leave with meaningful projects, new skills, and unforgettable summer memories.

6th - 8th Summer Camp

Workshops for 6th through 8th grade are designed for students who want to explore interests, build real skills, and collaborate with peers in a hands-on environment. Each workshop focuses on creative projects, problem-solving challenges, and interactive learning experiences that encourage curiosity and independence. Students experiment with new ideas, develop practical skills, and work both individually and in teams to bring concepts to life. With a balance of structured instruction and open-ended creation, these workshops offer meaningful opportunities for middle schoolers to learn, create, and connect while preparing for more advanced learning and self-expression.

Kinder Summer Camp

Kinder Camps are designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence through play-based learning and hands-on exploration. Each week, campers engage in age-appropriate activities that blend art, movement, storytelling, simple STEM challenges, sensory play, and outdoor games. Through guided projects and imaginative play, children build social skills, problem-solving abilities, and independence in a fun, supportive environment. Every day is filled with opportunities to create, move, discover, and make new friends, ensuring that each camper leaves with joyful memories and meaningful experiences.

Cooking and Culture Camp

In this hands-on Cooking & Culture camp (or workshop), students will develop essential kitchen skills, expand their taste buds, and explore cuisines from around the world while gaining a deeper appreciation for different cultures through engaging and fun cultural lessons. Students will also engage in hands-on arts and crafts projects inspired by the various cultures they will learn about. These activities help reinforce learning in an exciting and meaningful way. This class builds confidence, encourages creativity, supports teamwork, and transforms cultural learning into an exciting experience students will remember and talk about long after the summer class ends. No prior cooking experience is needed, just curiosity and a love of food.

Theater Summer Camp

PlayCV Theater Camp & Workshop invites students to embark on an unforgettable, multi-week theatrical journey where creativity, collaboration, and performance come to life. Participants explore the foundations of musical theatre through acting, character development, improvisation, movement, and storytelling, building confidence and expressive skills along the way. Through games, ensemble work, and guided practice, students learn how to bring characters and stories to the stage while working as a supportive troupe. Throughout the program, students experiment with scene work, improvisation, and choreography, discovering how acting, movement, and storytelling connect. They develop stage presence, teamwork, and creative problem-solving while gaining practical theatre skills in a fun and encouraging environment. The experience culminates in a final performance that showcases each student’s growth and talent. Depending on the group, the show may feature reimagined stories, scene work, improvisational moments, and musical theatre elements, giving every performer a chance to shine on stage. Led by PlayCV’s experienced theatre directors, this program is designed for performers of all levels. Whether students are stepping on stage for the first time or looking to refine their skills, PlayCV Theater Camp & Workshop provides a welcoming space to learn, create, and discover the magic of theatre.
