Track & Field Fundamentals

This camp will provide an introduction to the basics of running, jumping and throwing. Working with expert coaches, campers will learn how to improve their speed, agility and endurance through a focus on proper running form and pacing techniques. Participants will learn different types of jumps, and how to jump higher while landing safely. Through a variety of speed and agility drills, campers will improve their acceleration and enhance their ability to change direction quickly. As well, campers will learn different endurance exercises to build stamina and recover properly from fatigue.
